Currently I am establishing a new server with fat clients.
Some of the users should be able to use couple of common directories for
special groups. These directories should be on the server, not in the
chroot.
As you know, /home is on the server. So I thought it would be easy to
add a symlink from each of the $HOMEs to the common directory, but it
doesn't work out.
It is possible to access the link when I log into the server at the
server directly. The link is there, and everything runs as expected. But
when I log into a fat client, the link is shown but dead.
How did you guys solve this?
Thanks for your insight!
