have anyone else observed that the LaTeX editor texmaker can cause an LTSP terminal to freeze.
We use ubuntu 12.04 based clients and Ubuntu 14.04 based app servers.
At least two users reported today that using texmaker caused their terminals to freeze (they didn't even use the same terminal hardware).
I asked the to test texstudio instead, which worked just fine.
I can see in the archives that it is not the first time texmaker have seemed slow or similar.
Just wanted to know if others have experienced freezes? For now I opted to remove texmaker from the production system
