Hi list

I'm still battling some LDM problems. LDM seems to either freeze the terminal or the username/password field simply disappears.

The terminal (HP T5530) seems ok if we just reboot it.

I've set X_RAMPERC=89 and given them a NBD SWAP of 1024MB.

My suspicion is power save mode (or what ever it is called) in the terminal. That is the problem arises when the terminal is coming back from power save mode, then perhaps X is misbehaving.

Anyone know how to completely disable power save mode on the terminal?

Otherwise I'm basically running out of options, short of writing a cron script that automatically shuts down the terminal once it have sat idle with he login screen for say 10mins.

Ideas?

The terminals are running an Ubuntu 12.04 based image.
