[Ltsp-discuss] Scripts for easy installation of LTSP

Sch-scripts are in Greek for now, they properly implement ltsp setup
and user account creation and editing, as well as shared folders etc.
Sch-scripts in 2008 were similar to pinet as it is now.
Sch-scripts in 2017 are way more mature.
I would be interested in translating these scripts to English, for the
benefit of everyone,
if possible. Where can I find them?
I can hardly believe that nobody has been interested in translating and
using them
for such a long time.

Thanks and regards,
Dashamir

for such a long time.
They're in https://launchpad.net/sch-scripts
but they don't have translation support in the code, so you can't
translate them in English.
I could try with the help of Google translate (and polish the translations
with common sense),
but it seems like a huge work, and I don't have much time and incentives
for doing it.

We applied for an outreachy program in debian about internationalizing
sch-scripts, let's see how that goes. :)
It would be great. It is a shame that they are not already translated and
available for everybody.

Cheers,

Alkis, I find ltsp-pnp the most easy and practical of all ltsp flavours
(even though it is a bit less flexible). It also works well with the latest
version of Ubuntu (16.04).
Thank you for making it and for keeping it up to date.

I have also described my experience here:
http://dashohoxha.fs.al/ltsp-pnp/

In LTSP I miss the "guest session" login of Ubuntu. I have seen some
custom solutions, but I think that it is so important that it should have
been made built-in in ltsp (or at least ltsp-pnp).

Regards,
Dashamir
